BEMER is designed to improve circulation by supporting the body’s natural self-regulating processes. Blood is the body’s universal means of transportation. Oxygen, nutrients, hormones and immune cells are all transported through blood circulation. When our body’s cells, tissues and organs are adequately nourished and metabolic waste products are removed, our bodies maintain a healthy balance and function properly. Regulating and ensuring adequate circulation is a prerequisite for ensuring optimal health. The uniqueness of BEMER lies in its signal and its configuration. The signal leads to scientifically grounded stimulation of the smallest vessels (microcirculation) supporting the circulatory system as a whole.  No other biophysical modality in the world targets the microcirculation in the way that BEMER does. During the session, users may experience a light feeling of warmth or a tingling sensation. Most feel noticeably relaxed and invigorated after the application, while some have no awareness of the application. Because of the low intensity of the magnetic field used to transmit the Bemer signal, the Bemer can be used with all metal implants (surgical screws, discs, suture clips, etc.).  However, magnetic, electromagnetic, or electrical implanted devices (Defibrillators, Pacemakers, Deep Brain Stimulators, Pain Pumps, Insulin Pumps, etc.) should be cleared for use by the medical device manufacturer of the implanted devices before BEMER is applied. Raindrop therapy is a massage technique that uses medicinal grade essential oils to the legs, back and spine. Nutritionist Gary Young developed the technique after studying the Lakata Native American healing practices for 20 years. This technique is a gentle yet powerful tool to alleviate physical discomfort and relax the spine. The technique is based on research suggesting that many types of spinal curvatures and mis-alignments are caused by viruses and bacteria that lie dormant along the spine. The pathogens along the spine then cause inflammation that disfigures and contorts the spinal column over time.

The combination of applying these oils and allowing them to absorb into the body with a damp, hot towel to end the session can cause sensitivity to the sunlight. Because of this, keep your horse stalled for 12 hours after this with plenty of water and clean shavings, or make sure the treatment is done in the evening after the sun has gone down. The treatment will dehydrate the body of foreign substances up to a few days after the therapy, so your horse will likely drink more water and urinate/defecate more frequently. Pregnant mares should not have raindrop therapy performed, instead manual massages are recommended for broodmares up until a month before their due date.
